This Privacy Policy explains how Party At The Crib ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure, zero-friction multiplayer gaming experience.
1. Information We Collect
Party At The Crib is designed to be played anonymously.
User Accounts: We do not require you to create an account, enter an email address, or provide any personal information to use the core application.
Temporary Session Data: When you join a game room, you choose a nickname and a hometown. This data is temporary and exists solely to facilitate game play during your active session.
Persistent Profiles (Sign in with Apple): If you choose to use our lifetime stats or achievements feature, we use "Sign in with Apple" to securely authenticate you. Apple provides us with a unique, randomized user identifier. We do not collect or store your real name or your real email address.
2. How Your Data is Processed (Firebase)
We use Google Firebase to power our real-time game rooms, handle player synchronization, and store persistent achievements.
Game data (such as game room codes, answers to trivia, and anonymized user nicknames) is transmitted to Google Firebase servers to sync gameplay across devices.
Anonymous session data is automatically deleted or overwritten when a game room closes.
If you utilize a persistent profile, your lifetime stats and earned badges are tied securely to your anonymous Apple identifier in our Firebase database.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data, session history, or gameplay statistics with any third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data is processed strictly through Google Firebase for the operational purpose of running the multiplayer game.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our services are safe for general audiences. Because we do not collect, store, or track personal data or real-world identities, we do not knowingly gather or retain personal information from children under 13.
